How Do I Upgrade My iPod Touch Memory Capacity?

Qns 1) How do I upgrade my iPod touch memory capacity to 32GB and above?
Qns 2) Could I dismantle the iPod and replace a larger flash memory cell?
Qns 3) Or, is there such a upgrade services in Apple support?

So let me ask you, if Apple had released a 32GB touch in September 07 for, say, $1,099 would you have bought one? Probably not, so why would any manufacturer make and release something like that?

I just received my i pod touch 16 g the next day apple announced 32 g is now out.
Is it true that you cannot upgrade to 32 from 16? Can Apple do it? H.L.

If you purchased the 16 GB from Apple, just go right back to the store, return it, and buy the 32 GB.

You get 14 days to return for any reason.

My problem is that I purchased it on the internet from the apple store and took their offer to have it engraved. They probably will not accept it back. H.L.

Yes they will. In fact, you can request that the next one has the same engraving!

The engraving is all free, so Apple doesn't mind. Mind you though, the engraved version will take longer to ship.
