Front Row: background music is gone while viewing Photos

Hi,

I was trying to change background music about 2 weeks ago and felt succeeded in it. Since then Front Row with Photos was not used. Unfortunately today I figured out that music does not play anymore. Even selecting another music folder in iPhoto for event does not help:

+It works in iPhoto once Play button is clicked but does not produce desired effect in Front Row for the same Photos.+

Any ideas?

Thanks.

All these reasons make it worth of using iPhotos and Creating separate SlideShows.

That's exactly why I've always manually made slideshows myself. You can even set the slideshow to last exactly as long as the music, which is the main selling point for me. Have you had trouble assigning an iTunes playlist to your slideshow, though? Some people get no music if they choose a pre-configured iTunes playlist in the slideshow.

t's weird although I never watch photos from one SlideShow for such a long time so that one Track may finish playing .

Ah, I see. I have a slideshow from Hong Kong that has nearly 400 pictures in it and lasts half an hour. All of the songs in the iTunes playlist have the word "China" in them... I've exported it from iPhoto as a QuickTime file so I can play it through Front Row under the "Movies" module now.

Douglas, where did you find that settings window? Using iPhoto 7.1.1 (354), I clicked on a slideshow in the sidebar. It shows the first picture, and a band below the picture has several controls including a "settings" button. A property sheet displays titled "Default settings for the entire slideshow." It doesn't have the shuffle button.

I thought I remembered a shuffle button too, but I don't see it.

Ah, now I see where some of this confusion may be coming from. I'm selecting a regular "album" of pictures and then clicking the "play" button below the info window in the lower, left-hand corner. I'm not changing the settings for a pre-existing slideshow.

The settings sheet from the sideshows do not include a shuffle option. This is surely a bug that should be addressed by Apple. I should have been more clear about where I was seeing the "slideshow settings" window.
