Forgotten OS 9 Start up login

can anyone help? I have an old blueberry clamshell iBook with os9.2 but I seem to have forgotten the start up login password now I cant get into it I have tried starting up from a cd but i no longer have the 9.2 software cd's and it wont let me start up on an os8.6 cd can anyone help me is there anyway of bypassing the start up password??

ADB.... hmmm i only can find usb and some useless ports unless...
how dus the icon from ADB looks? like this? : -'-,-'

Hi, Pepijn -

I know nothing about Unix, but I suspect it won't work. The chipset on the G3 is designed to be run by a Mac OS.

I used a ubuntu boot disc, pressed c(trl?) but there was just the mac os 9.2 welcome screen.
the disc is ok, i tested it on m own mac
