Iphone/Pioneer bluetooth

Any reason why the Iphone doesnt import address list. I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 (radio/dvd nav)with a Pioneer BTB200 bluetooth adapter. It sees the Iphone, but I cant upload any saved phone numbers.

Built myself, Windows Vista

I am lost. I have my iphone, the pioneer bluetooth adapter BTB200 and the pioneer deck P6000UB. The iphone plugs into its USB and the deck takes full control of the iphones ipod functions. Cool. I can make calls via bluetooth adapter fine, the music fades out and rings, I talk into mic and hear through speakers, great, when I end call the music fades back in like it is supposed to.
However, when I receive calls, the music fades, I take call, when call end, music does not resume. THe ipod music seems to lock up. I have to unplug iphone, and restart it most of the time.
This happen to anyone? Any ideas? Please advice, thanks.

I'm also having the issue with the auto connect on my avic d-3 and btb200. I detect and pair up the devices and register the phone name in the d-3 but my iPhone won't then reconnect automatically or direct connect, I have to unpair, redetect and then pair the devices each time I want to use them. Then they work fine until I turn off the ignition! I didn't have this issue with my SonyEricsson so I have a hard time believing it's the pioneer bluetooth module at fault.

I have also had the same problem trying to sync my iphone contacts with my Pioneer Avic-d3 to no avail. I have contacted Pioneer and Apple to try to figure it out and they both had the same answer "the iphone does not have optic push profile" so the iphone will not perform this function with any type of equipment that requires this type of software. Apple says this may come in a future update but is not planned as of yet. If anybody finds a way around this that would be great. Other than that I have had no problems with my avic-d3. When I enter my car it links up everytime.

I have read that you can download the iphone contacts to a tomtom but i am told by apple that this is not possible. Is the tomtom software designed to work with the iphone? I am going crazy trying to figure out how to download my contacts to my avic-d3. I have spoken with other iphone users and they have experienced the same problem even with factory installed audio/gps equipment although there are messages on this discussion that dispute that. I think i am going to give up but i will continue to check back to see if someone else has solved this problem for all of us.

Yes, I took an apple component cable and ran it into the aux video in and it works fine. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get my address book in as I think there is some way to do it via a cd.

Btw I tried to upload my address book to a new toyota and it didn't work either.. bummer. Would be nice if apple did the "push" for the bluetooth address book.

Hi All,

I have the same problem with my iPhone and Pioneer CD-BTB100 Bluetooth carkit integrated with my AVH-6850DVD headunit. It pairs up fine but when I crank the ignition the next time I'm back in the car, the iPhone / BTB-100 refuses to pair / connect.

I've kind of gotten used to it working seamlessly with my Nokia E90 and am left quite disappointed with the iPhone. Perhaps someone would have found a solution / hack to this by now? If so, please do share.

Thanks!

i have a pioneer fhp8000bt and the contacts tranfered without a problem. so it is definitely doable. i also have none of the issues regarding pairing, it will establish a connection shortly after i start the car. perhaps its cuz this is a newer model headunit....

the only problem i have is on incoming calls with bluetooth while playing music. if a call comes in via bluetooth while i'm playing music, it will transfer to the call without a problem. once i'm done with the call, the music will not resume. it appears as its maybe stuck in bluetooth/phone mode. i've yet to figure out what the issue is....
