can't register ipod touch

This problem has an easy fix -- there is a button labelled "never register". I clicked it after the 5th failed attempt. This is our 7th ipod and I don't recall any real benefits from registering any of them. I can do without the warm fuzzies and the video clips but it is kind of sad to see this kind of amateurish problem. Especially for first-timers getting these as gifts. A bad first impression that gets repeated every time they plug in the device.

This worked for me.

Sign in toyour iTunes FIRST. Then plug in your iPod Touch, then click register.
