Answering the iPhone wearing gloves

Hi, I do a lot of motorbiking and want to be able to answer the iPhone when on the go, with my old phone I just pressed a button, but with the iPhone being touch screen it will not respond when wearing gloves. I connect the iPhone to my bikes intercomm via blue tooth, any ideas how I can answer the call while wearing gloves, please ?

iPhone, Other OS, na

Motorcycle rider. Daily commuter, currently in heavy rain season and 40 degree temp.

I'm going to buy two of the different types of iPhone stylus, gut them and embed the touch surface on some type of slip-on for my gloves.
Probably something elastic since I have both armored/non-armored + leather/textile gloves of varying thickness.

Here is what I wrote yesterday in the other thread on the subject:

I ride my motorcycle year round and have my iPod Touch (same capacitive method as iPhone) in the Otterbox iTouch case. I also have the iPhone in an Otterbox Armour Series waterproof case.
The iTouch is mounted on a RAM mount on the handlebars. It's surviving quite nicely in the pouring rain and 40 (f) degree weather.
With the protective cover of the Otterbox, the controls work but not with any type of regular gloves (I have maybe 8 different pairs for different conditions, thin to thick/armored).

Question to those who are gifted with electricity knowledge:
In the capacitive method, do you need to be able to transfer human-level electricity/static/whatever from your skin to the outside of a glove?
Would placing a conductor on the outside of the glove be enough or must it contain an electrical field (powered)?
If you must produce an electric field on the surface of a glove, what would be the volts/watts/amps whatever?

Sorry about my 12th century level of electricity knowledge.

I have the exact same problem. with my Treo, it had the "Auto-Answer" feature after 3 rings, so i was able to take the call whether riding or at work while my phone was buried in a safe location. Does anyone know if they are going to do a software update to include such a feature???

That, and the "Voice Call" feature are the only things i really miss about other phones. I wish these were available on this iphone, then, in my opinion, this phone would be totally complete. Well, if it had the GPS antenna built in as well, then it would be totally complete!!!!

Anyone with some info??!?!
