mp4 only playing audio

For some reason half of my mp4 collection only plays the audio. It doesnt even show any video.

I have this problem only when playing videos in safari and its really getting annoying

I'm having the same problem! Ever since I upgraded I can only hear audio. How do I fix this!?

Yep. Add another person that list. I am having the same issues. Most of my MP4 files don't play video anymore. And they used to before upgrading QT.

So, it appears Apple has released QT v7.4.1 (14) but the problem persists. Could I be doing something wrong, or has Apple not yet fixed the issue?

Believe it or not, you can view your mp4 videos in iTunes.

Add another one I cant play anything through Safari only sound works. I can on Firefox and Itunes

M fix means only the mp4 codec is rolled back to the older version. Everything else stays up to date. Any QT updates will most likely overwrite it again and could cause the fault to return.
