I recently purchased several cards for iTunes. None of them worked. I had a $25 a $15 and another $15 and NONE of them worked.
If somebody could tell me that they are having the same problem, or if there is a solution to this please reply.
Same thing is happening to me - a $25 holiday gift card (has the little snowflake thing on the front) and a regular hot pink $15 card. I was freaking out because I received both as gifts so I can't very well go and demand a receipt or anything as proof of purchase. I hope it's fixed soon!
BTW, did anyone try filling out the support form from the guy who gave the link above? I haven't yet because I was going to wait to see if it gets fixed on its own but I was wondering if I should.
I have a gift card from December and I purchased one today and neither of them are working. I go to redeem and get the message that I was unable to redeem. I have changed the numbers to letters and then letters to numbers and still nothing. I have sent an email to support.....lets see what happens
I've been having the same problem for the last 12 hours with two cards. I guess it's reassuring to find that several of us have the same problem? If anyone hears back from Apple Support, it would be good to know what they say.
I'm having the same problem too. The only difference is that I have a Japanese iTunes card I just bought and I cannot redeem it at the Japanese store too. This is very annoying because I was looking forward to listening to some good music I'm planning to download!
This is the first time I am actually downloading music from iTunes, and it's already such a nightmare! Anyone's problem was solved yet?
I filled out the customer service form and will post as soon as I hear something. Please if you are having this same problem fill out the customer service form so Apple can see that it's not just an isolated incident.
