Virtual PC - Virtual Switch not working after upgrade

Okay, so now its October and the Kernel panic, AFAIK is still a problem. I haven't attempted to run VPC long enough to make it happen yet again. Has one of the recent patches fixed this, or is it still a problem that we can only hope might get fixed?

I've used VirtualPC 7.0.2 since the end of August and no kernel panics on 10.4.2. So it must be a combination of factors causing it. Since kernel panics have several known causes, I suggest clicking here on Post a New Link so a separate thread can get started to isolate the issue on your machine.

I have been using VPC 7 (XP Pro) since before 10.4 came out and have had no problems with it in any subsequent upgrades, including 10.4.3, which I just tried to make sure everything was okay.

I am presently using VPC 7.0.2. I have learned that it is important to install VPC correctly to have everything work right. It does not look to me as though your problem is 10.4.3, or (assuming you have installed it correctly) VPC 7.

Okay I finally got to ask a question because I'm such a novice but I need a simple question answered...

I am a cross over PC user and just got my G4, I have downloaded windows media player to my Mac desktop but can't load it can someone school me please?

It asks me to Choose an application to install it

If you haven't downloaded Stuffit Expander, and have a machine where you erase and installed Tiger, or came with Tiger you may have trouble loading .sit or .hqx files:
