ADD CALL - MERGE CALL - 3 WAY CALLING FEATURE: How does it work?

I'm on o2 and It's never worked for me, when I try it, it only switches from one caller to another, putting the other caller on hold.

THIS IS THE SOLUTION!!

Indeed you were right, O2 did not enable the Call Merge facility when they updated their tariffs. So if you ring and persist with O2 they will agree and alter your facilities. After I got through to a 'Grown Up' they said it would be a couple of hours and all would be good and they were right; all fixed.

Good Luck People.

I also had this problem and the first time I called O2 they said they could not do anything about it.

I called again a few days later and they then acknowledged that it was a know issue.
It was resolved by them referring my case to someone who could sort it out.
They advised me to wait 24 hours and it would be resolved, and it was.

The strange thing is that all these issues regarding the merge not working appear to be passed to one individual at O2. I was advised that they were all being passed to a female team member who was sorting the issue out on an individual basis as users called in.
