My MacBook Air makes a humming/buzzing sound ALL THE TIME

I've had my Air for two weeks now. At first, it didn't do this but now it gives off a distinct buzz constantly. And no, it isn't the ventilation. It does this even after having been switched off for hours. Any idea why this is and what I can do to stop it?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

my macbook air fan is always making a very loud noise.... i am pretty sure its the fan but im worried about it, and not sure if its the fan but i think it is.
please help?

wow...seems like the air is giving hella of trouble lately...i might just end up waiting til next year for it..

In my case, the fan is touching something when spinning, and that's why it's buzzing, it won't spin faster then 2000 rpm, and the processor is overheating, one core is shutting down, etc.
