iMac 24 Aluminum screen burn-in?

Hi everyone, I have had this weird screen issue pop up in the last few weeks, It's not the gradient or streaking issue, it looks like a burn in effect as I can see text, icons etc in the background at all times on my iMac, even during boot when the white apple screen is showing.

I have the Aluminum 24 inch iMac 2.4 Ghz.

I am going to post some pictures tomorrow to show this issue, anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah..

We all need to call apple and voice our concerns about it so that they will offer a fix/support.

Yes! I bought a refurbished model in Oct. 2008 and saw screen burn tonight for the first time. Have you any new feedback about this? Thank you.

I have the same issue...but agree that it tends to go away in a few days of use where the screen is forced to display dynamic changes in color and such.

I use the same thing the screen burns in after a mere 15 minutes of email viewing.

I use that every day gets pretty annoying though.

I wish i could fix it.
