Screen Colours Inverted

I have a Macbook Pro 15" and yesterday when i turned it on the colours for the most part were inverted on the internal screen. I tried it on an external screen and it works fine. Has this happened to anybody and does anybody know how to fix it? if not i will take it in to get looked at.

Those pictures were exactly what happened to my screen last night. I reset PRAM and it was fixed thanks for the images to go along with it. I was going to upload images as well but your images and fix confirmed my problem.
