Scrolling 'My Movies" Genre is still slow for me 😟

It seems like I lost the ability to play the music videos I purchased from iTunes. I get the loading bar and the spinning wheel, but it never stops. My music videos plays fine.

There does not seem to be an update for Canada.
I notice from the screens on the blog that my setting screen is completely different.
It does not show version number and only says "Downloads"
It checked for downloads and found None.
I have version 2.01 according to iTunes.

It seems to be working perfectly. Hush!!!

There is an update for Canada as well. I just update it about 2 hours ago. My screen is like the one from the blog.

I noticed this immediately, response seems significantly faster on mine (at least for now) and scrolling through movie listings is much more responsive.

NigelC, definitely want to put in a feature request for Internet Radio if you haven't already. Perhaps if enough people do so they'll add the feature. Rather apropos as I just put in such a request before I read your post.

Now that I think about it, updating to my iPod using the the USB port might not be a bad idea.

This seems to just be a bugfix release. I noticed nothing new except one huge fix - having wide channels enabled on 5GHz Apple Extreme 802.11N networks no longer crashes/stutters the box.

I have gotten smooth data transfers for a few hours now with wide channels enabled on my 5GHz N network with the 2.02 update. Prior to that, with 2.0.1, the ATV would crash hard when data transfer started.

YEEEEEES ! Browsing 'my movies' by genre is now fixed, no more annoying lags ... thanks Apple !

So, 5GHz wide channel bug fixed 🙂 Add HD1080p and standalone Internet Radio support please! Also we need instructions for hidden (like keyboard "option" key) features of AirPort Utility 😉

Fixed and seems much faster. I'm getting around 10.5MB/s right now transferring video to the unit after the update. With 2.0.1, I was around 8 or 9, until it dropped its connection that is 🙂

We didn't even get the standard, pathetic "improvements and fixes" generic message. I'm really getting sick of Apple thinking we don't want to know what's being updated. There is a noticeable decline in Apple functionality across the board in the past couple couple of years. We need to know what's being fixed now more than ever.

So aside from the ability to rent movies, which we can't do in the UK yet anyway, is it as good as v1.1 was ? Please be honest.

That's a big fix. It's been driving me nuts since the 2.0.1 update. I'm glad to see Apple jumped on it so quickly (for them).

well the new update didn't fix my 5 day odyssey to "authorize" the apple tv to play any useful content. I'm actually sending it back today as it's been such a horrible experience trying to get it to actually work as advertised.
