... shall I bring up AGAIN, the inability of the AppleTV to play one music video after another without returning to the menu? Or the ability to create a music video playlist , or random video playback ?
This still amazes me. Apple wont acknowledge the use or need for this, they wont implement it, and it is a common feature in my iTunes and on my iPod.
Has anyone else's ATV not found the update? I'm currently at 2.0.1 and when I go to Software Update the ATV can't find any. Is there a delay in some places? I'm in Chicago.
I noticed a little weird bug since upgrading (or at least my Apple TV is acting up on this issue). When watching a slideshow the screensaver kicks in a few minutes into it, pressing the 'menu' button makes it return to the slideshow. I have no idea why it suddenly treats slideshows as a state of inactivity.
If your network connection is not stable , the ATV may disappear from iTunes. You are wireless? And make sure that you have the last version of iTunes( go to help or in iTunes and check what version you have)
Yes, I have been having constant dropouts on my network (both on Time Capsule and Extreme before that). So my beef is not with Apple TV for that... BUT my beef IS with the fact that it doesn't try to reconnect with the network--what's worse is that every single time you have to click in your password! Excruciating...
I upgraded to 2.0.2 and now the sound keeps breaking. It plays 4 or 5 seconds and then it goes silent for half a second or so. Is anyone else having this problem?
Sound for movies, for songs , for streaming or for sync staff?! I do not believe that has anything to do with the update. Looks more like a streaming issue, how the play can't keep up with the upload.
