I am amazed by what Grapher can do, but the available help files clearly only skim the surface. Does anyone know of a web site, book, etc. that really explains the ins and outs of the program

Mathematica or Maple, yet those ones are pretty expensive.
Hello. I also am amazed at what Grapher can do. I created several Quicktime movies with Grapher that worked fine on my Mac. When I attempt to show them to students in a Windows XP environment I get an error message similar to "The file 'Name.mov' is not accessable by Quicktime". Any suggestions?
Also, when listing the Grapher help topics (alphebetical order), only letters A through I are listed. Is this the complete list? Thanks for any feedback. Paul

Not sure who's the culprit. Try updating Quicktime for XP or use
http://www.videolan.org/
Unfortunately, that's all.

I have what appears to be a bug with Grapher. When I plot:
z = -1/(x^2 + y^2)
it looks fine. But when I try to apply a contour, the app goes off into Lala-land. I gave up after watching the spinning beachball for 5 minutes.
This is a wonderful app. It gives me something to show a new Mac owner using what comes installed, and is fun to leave running on Macs in computer stores.
TIA,

A better manual for Grapher
