Has anyone with a D-Link DIR-655 router gotten video iChat to work?

I'm wondering if people have gotten video chat to work just by turning on UPnP (i.e., without explicitly opening any ports)

PowerBook G4/1.67 GHz, Mac OS X (10.5.2), 7200rpm 100 GB HD, 2 GB RAM, iPhone 8GB (1.1.4)

+Personally I would not buy a D-Link to use with iChat.+

Just to reduce the FUD: I installed my DIR-655 and so far it works just fine *out of the box* with Leopard videoconferencing and screen sharing. I did see that the router was rejecting some UDP packets (but there were no discernible problems resulting from that), so I changed the UDP endpoint filtering to "endpoint independent," and now everything seems fine.

It's a great router. Because of the extensive configurability, I wouldn't recommend it for someone who doesn't like to tinker or have some technical ability, but otherwise thus far it as been terrific.

+I will now pigeon-hole it under " I know some people who have got this to work with iChat "+

The point I'm making is that one doesn't have to do anything to get it to work -- it just works. So one can presume that the people who had trouble getting the D-Link DIR-655 to work would also have trouble getting the Airport Extreme Base Station to work -- indeed, they might have trouble getting iChat to work, period!

Accepted.

My point from earlier was....
After reading every post in iChat 2 and earlier, iChat 3 and iChat and Screen Sharing in Leopard I have reservations about D-Link as a whole.

I posted to let you know despite my reservations I would personally code this one in my mind differently now.

The comment was supposed to extract a wry smile and a "Ha!" from you, that you had got me to change my mind somewhat.
