"Billing Info" loop

Whenever I try to buy a new song, I'm asked to comfirm billing info. I do, and it's accepted, then I go back to the song I want to buy, and I'm asked to confirm again.

What's going on? Why won't iTunes let me spend my money?!

I'm having the same issue. I went to my bank first (they actually answer the phone!) and they said my address and zip code were correct. I've made other online purchases recently with no trouble... don't know what Apple's problem is. The other thing I've noticed is it keeps putting holds on my bank account but doesn't let me download anything.

That's **** great, but still - the village-countries, like my homeland Poland - can't try out any of the above solutions, as the polish so nicely called, rather meaningless though "support system" doesn't even have... support. The polish website has totally different "Store" section, which means i can't even modify my account information there, haha.

Regards, UK and USA "folks". And sorry for the gramma. Hope to see some new solutions here, so i won't be forced to download cra... ekhm, nevermind 😉

I'm stuck in this loop but having no luck trying these solutions. I've tried ammending my Apple Store info, but when updating my payment info iTunes it now refuses to accept my card issue number and says my postcode is in the wrong format. Neither of these 'errors' are correct. Worse position than when I started, and I am still unable to make any purchases.

My problem continues to be with the credit card, but i dont even want to use a credit card! I removed the credit card from my billing info so that i could just use an itunes card, but every time i try to pay, it just refreshes the page and I get nothing done. i dont mind having my credit card on the account, its a prepaid card that doesnt have enough money on it and I cant refil it, but have enough money on the itunes card to pay for it. I dont understand the problem, but it seems unique to me in the fact i cant use the credit card even if i want to

I'm ready to scream - someone help!!!

I moved about two months ago and changed my details with my credit card company. I have tried and tried to change the address in my iTunes account, but it just keeps looping me back to the billing info again - and the old information is there. I had an old email addie that I'd had an account on, and it let me change it on there, no problem - I just can't get the email anymore.

I did some searching and found the Apple info page and tried that. It let me change my ONE phone number, but not my ONE address.

Finally I emailed iTunes store help the other day and got a reply today, suggesting that I go in and change my address to match that on my credit card. I replied politely that that was my problem. I got another reply saying that there were several things I could try with my credit card provider to fix this. I replied that I was obviously not making myself clear. My f'ing problem is that I can't f'ing change the address on the Apple system - nothing to do with my credit card, which I can use everywhere else with no problem.

This support person's last advice was that I use PayPal or iTunes cards. I replied that I didn't want to do that - I wanted to order on my card, like normal.

I then added a $20 (cdn) iTunes card that my son got for his ninth birthday this week, to buy some songs for him - and it just keeps asking for my billing info update - and it won't even let me use the bloody card!!

Surely there is someone we can call and scream at? This is ridiculous! I've got the ipods, the iMac - you name it - but I can't spend $0.99!!! I am at the end of my tether - anyone else got a suggestion?

Thanks for listening! 🙂

I'd buy from Amazon MP3 downloads - is that available in Canada?

I'm so sorry this is happening to you, my son was about 9 yrs also when I tried to introduce him to iTunes.

Honestly I would take my business elsewhere, but since you have the $20 card I understand you want to use it.

All I can suggest is trying typing over all the entry fields in
myinfo.apple.com

Best of luck!
