Currently Being ModeratedAug 4, 2005 9:34 PM (in response to Andre John Mas)That other thread you referred to looks like it's mainly for those that had an existing podcast that was dropped from itunes. I fall into the category of the "black hole" where it's been over a week since I submitted my properly formatted feed (from feedburner) and I don't have a clue of when -or- even if, it gets posted into itunes. I wish there was a conservative timetable that Apple would establish so we would at least know how long to wait. Does anyone know if you get notification if it is denied or accepted?

The feed address is: feeds.feedburner.com/kikuchiyumi

Currently Being ModeratedAug 8, 2005 8:09 AM (in response to Jim Anning)I submitted a podcast to iTunes on August 1, 2005. As of Aug 8, it's not listed. The RSS feed is feeds.feedburner.com/JoeDuleysRythmGroove
I've searched for an Apple e-mail address to query status, but haven't found one. BTW, I also registered with www.podcast.net on Aug 5. Waiting for that registration to appear.
Currently Being ModeratedAug 8, 2005 9:39 AM (in response to Jim Anning)I am also waiting for my podcast to appear in Itunes. I submitted it 8 days ago and assume that there is a technical reason why it has not progressed although as far as I know it is working correctly.
It would be really useful to know whether it is just stuck in a very long queue or has been rejected and will never appear - and if so why.
I am based in the UK and my feed is
All the best,
Currently Being ModeratedAug 9, 2005 8:57 AM (in response to Jim Anning)I'm in the same boat. I tried to submit our feed on the very first day iTunes 4.9 was released, and it said that my podcast was already submitted. At first I thought, "Cool! We were included with the initial import of podcasts!" But now it's still not showing up. I know tons of people who have started new shows and had them up in the directory within days.
This is beyond aggrivating.
Currently Being ModeratedAug 9, 2005 7:40 PM (in response to Jim Anning)We added our feed on the first day of iTunes podcasting support but have never shown up. I continue to try and tweak the feed to encapsulate as many of the iTunes tags as possibe. The Feedvalidator.org likes my feed, so I have no clue why we can't get this posted. I have opened many support tickets with Apple and always get the (24-72 hour repsonse time email back) and when they finally do respond they just point me to the SPEC.. Here is our feed:
Currently Being ModeratedAug 12, 2005 10:51 PM (in response to Jim Anning)It has been a week or more since I listed...have no idea why it has not shown up yet...
feed is ediamond.audioblog.com/rss/xoriente.xml

Currently Being ModeratedAug 15, 2005 7:25 PM (in response to Jim Anning)We would just like some information regarding podcast submission. we've submitted the feed to our weekly podcast on July 3rd and have yet to hear anything about it from apple or seen it in the directory.
our feed is: feeds.feedburner.com/RadioOrphans
Currently Being ModeratedAug 15, 2005 8:25 PM (in response to Jim Anning)Has anyone on this list made it on iTunes since you posted?
Currently Being ModeratedAug 16, 2005 9:06 AM (in response to Jim Anning)Thanks for starting this thread, Jim.
I'm based in Trinidad & Tobago and my podcast feed is feeds.feedburner.com/CaribbeanFreeRadioBlog
From the day iTunes launched its podcasting feature my feed was listed as having already been submitted. I understand iTunes did get its initial podcast list from iPodder.org and I've been listed there since March.
Caribbean Free Radio
"The Caribbeans first podcast"
(almost live from Trinidad & Tobago)
Caribbean Free Photo
(maybe not the Caribbeans first photoblog but interesting nonetheless. . . .)
Currently Being ModeratedAug 16, 2005 11:12 AM (in response to Jim Anning)I added my podcast feed (feeds.feedburner.com/RubberCanada) over a month ago. According to friends, I was in the directory for a couple days, and was then removed with no explanation. I have not appeared in there since.
I have tried calling Apple and emailed them numerous times, with no success.
