iPhone Back Ordered

jmpearland I assumed you in Pearland. So am I. Did the store there say when they were getting a shipment of iphones to sell to the public? Or do you know anywhere in Houston were you can walk into the store and purchase an Iphone and just walk out?

i hear the galleria store has enough phone for everybody but there is a two hour wait. i hate lines. teh good news is that just yesterday 15 DF orders were filled. so they are moving faster. my at&t rep told me apple is shipping them out faster now. i think i will get my phone within 1-2 days now. if this is true, i only waited 9-10 days for my phone. the baybrook apple store gets them often but they are first come first serve. i went by there yesterday and they had 15 16gb white phones scheduled to come in today. the apple store can only help you if you open a new account or if your port your number there. the apple store rep told me he can't help you if you are already an at&t customer. doesn't make much sense but that is what i was told.

Your local AT&T store might be able to answer your question.

No one knows. Took 8 days for my order to come in, but it can vary from one location to the next. Not even AT&T probably knows when they will get them.

Wow, those AT&T guys react pretty quickly. You can now no longer choose to use the order number as a verification method on the order status page. I was able to last night, though.

well that's accessories from apple. i checked on the few iphones that have shipped and for texas they shipped out of ft. worth straight to the store.

Amazing that the geniuses at Apple and AT&T couldn't predict that the black phones would sell better than the white phones!

They better hope I get mine soon, or I will be cancelling my order.
