iPhone 3G Accelerometer

Does anyone agree that changing the view in safari is more jerky than previous iPhone? iTunes seems smooth enough as does the photo gallery.
Or is ti possible that it is just my phone?
TIA,
John

I have indeed witnessed the existence of such calibration tools, but they remain pertinent to the host application. Unfortunately some of the best (most expensive) games do NOT sport this feature.

What I need is a system wide OS calibration tool which applies to all apps all of the time. In the meantime i play accelerometer games lopsided, hoping that apple will acknowledge this fault and correct it in a future update! (i'll get around to posting feedback via the appropriate channel).

Thanks for the suggestion!

ps. cube runner (free) has this famous calibration tool which makes gameplay perfect. Asphalt 4 (7,99€) does not......

Many accelerometered games have a calibrator built in, like for instance Labyrinth Lite or PapiJump. Did you try t re-calibrate using one of those?

Hi, my phone got the same problem, as you mentioned, there are many apps that have a calibrator built in and after calibrate it (such as Lybyrinth, aMaze,.) it works fine for me, but the apple's applications such as music/video player (ipop), photo viewer does not have the calibrator built in thus when i turn the phone to landscape mode, i can not turn it back to the portrait mode for some time, do you guys know how to calibrate it from setting or some where that affect to all applications installed to the phone so that the other software that doesn't have the built in can work normally, ideally, apple should have this feature instead of another third party's software 😟
