My internet connection thru my modem stopped working yesterday. The modem is fine, went thru the whole rebooting process with them over the phone. When she told me to go to preferences, click on "built-in ethernet", she asked me what the IP address is and it's blank. I hit the renew DHCP lease button and the IP address remains blank. She gave me the MAC number but it said I have reached them during non-business hours but did not indicate when normal business hours are. I am using someone's wireless connection right now. Any suggestions?
Mac OS X (10.0.x),
I think this is my OS, not sure though
I have it on the ethernet when I'm trying the "assist me", should I try it on something else? I've never had to signin with the cable provider which is TimeWarner.
