Can I download my home-made MPGE-4 videos to iphone?

I wonder whether I can download any MPGE4 video to itunes and then upload to my 3G iphone? We love making video clips of our lifes and we would love to show the videos to other by my iphone as well.

I tried to drag the MPGE 4 clip to both itunes and my iphone, there messages keep telling me that I cant see MPGE 4 by my iphone. Is it true? :[

Yes, I did whatever the replies have told me. I also tried to follow the instruction offered by apple by trying to download a .mov to itunes's movie/tv shows icon, add to library and import of meun bar. but, there is no any message pop up telling me what's gone wrong. without seeing any message is a sign of telling me my version is sunk.

why listen to Radio? why not? i am staying in HK. a local radio got many funny talk shows. i am used to listen to the programs. However, iphone doesnt support FM radio, plus i cannot download my video clips onto the iphone. these are the features my previous provided.

i am used to be loyal to apple products, but now i am so disappointed and heart-broken.

In iTunes (even with the iPhone not connected) choose File > Add to Library
If you cannot even add your file this way, then it is nothing to do with iPhone, only iTunes.

I'm sorry to back track on this thread, but i'm still having problems getting my video into itunes, let alone my iphone.

I have the video saved as .mp4, however it was initially saved (from imovie to quicktime) as .dv...

I have it on my desktop, and have tried to drag it into itune, no luck. I've gone to itunes and tried to import, no luck, tried add to library, no luck....what step am i missing? Can you only put video into itune with QT PRO?

again, sorry to back track, thanks a ton for your help.

Think they put in a security measure where you must purchase the movies you'd like to watch, I JUST bought the iphone 3g model and previously with my classic model I could and have watched home made vids or converted movies, now I am seeing all my videos and movies in my Itunes library but they will not sync to my phone(3G)...have been trying for hours with no luck and I am using and doing all the same things Ive previously dona when I was successful with my classic model.

I was having the same problem.

When I leave the file name alone "MV_2950.M4V" and not renaming it "MotleyCrue". I converted the movie using QuickTime Pro, Export Movie to iPhone. Then dragged the file into the itunes window. I then plug in my iphone and go to the video tab in itunes and select the videos in the movie section. then sync, that seems to work.

But if I change the name of the file, I get the message - this movie will not play on your iphone and it kicks it back.

What gives???!!!!
