iTunes 7.7.1 Outlook Sync solution?

I just did an Mac software update and noticed itunes 7.7.1 download. Has anyone with Win XP found it and if so does it solve the Outlook Sync Client failure problem with iPhone 2.0?

MBP 2.4 iPhone iMac 3.06 Dell Dim9200c WinXP, Mac OS X (10.5), Lovely Machines

iTunes 7.7.1 did not solve all my sync problems with Outlook 2007 -- iPhone 2.0. Most appointments that had previously disappeared in Outlook day/week/month view (but were still on my iPhone) -- have come back.

BUT --

1) not all appointments came back -- all day events did not sync from iPhone 2.0 to Outlook.

2) Appointments that had been sent form others in different time zones were originally correct in EDT in Outlook => then in iPhone. But now that they have come back to Outlook from iPhone => they are the wrong time! Not very useful as a Calendar item!

Any further "tricks" to make all Calendar items sync correctly?

Thanks for mentioning it! EXACTLY the same happens to my configuration! I use Outlook 2007, iTunes 7.7.1.11 and iPhone Firmware 2.0 and since today, 2.0.1

Can localization play a role? My Windows XP Pro is in English and everything else (Outlook, iTunes, iPhone) in German.

This iPhone is my first Apple device that I've ever bought. What would be the best way to inform Apple about this terrible bug and hope for an immediate fix? I don't expect that they follow these discussions. Am I right?

I synch to two computers, mac for music and apps and pc for outlook contacts and calendar, and my horrible synch problems are completely solved by 7.7.1 -- backup now takes less than a minute on either machine, synch is back to the normal (brief) time before the 7.7 update, and my apps are no longer getting wiped from the phone when I synch to pc (I leave apps synch tab unchecked on pc and only synch apps to the mac). However, the first synch on both computers after the 7.7.1 update took at least 20 minutes. At some point I reset synch history on the pc, which may have helped, I'm not sure. I no longer get Outlook SynchClient error messages. I am really happy they fixed these problems, but I would still love to know what caused them and why they weren't found in testing.

The sync reset button managed to solve my calendar sync problems, and I had a couple of trouble-free days in syncing my calendar. However, last night when I made amendment in some of my entries already in the Outlook, the problem came back! Outlook once again doesn't take in the entries added on my iPhone. Even the reset button won't help this time around. Looks like I have to delete ALL problematic entries on BOTH my Outlook and iPhone, en-enter them and sync again. It's just crazy.
