iTunes 7.7.1 Outlook Sync solution?

I just did an Mac software update and noticed itunes 7.7.1 download. Has anyone with Win XP found it and if so does it solve the Outlook Sync Client failure problem with iPhone 2.0?

MBP 2.4 iPhone iMac 3.06 Dell Dim9200c WinXP, Mac OS X (10.5), Lovely Machines

Jepp,

I have the new iPhone 2.0.1 FW and Itunes 7.7.1 and I can not sync contacts or calendar, just get OutlookSyncClient crash.

Compared to the others in this tread I am running Vista and not XP.
