Carrier settings update won't install

A dock issue?...classic! 🙂

Hey everybody,

I am experiencing the same problems after the 2.0.1 update. Tried a restore aswell but keep getting the same result.

Operator: Telstra (Australia)

Same problem here after updating to 2.0.1 on Vodafone Italy

Same problem here after upgrading to 2.01. Carrier: Optus Australia. I tried deleting (after making a backup copy) the file C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Carrier Support\carrier_name.ipcc (Vista location) and then connecting my iPhone. I still got the error, however I noticed that a new copy of the file appeared, presumably downloaded. A .ipcc file is a zip file so I opened it and examined the contents. If the file size and dates of the contents are anything to go by, the new file and the backup were exactly the same.

The error happens everytime I connect my iPhone and when I click the "Check for updates button".

Same problem here in sweden with Telia. The phone seem to connect to the network anyway though and I can use Safari.

Finnish TeliaSonera is doing the same, tested in mac and xp

A Restore fixed it for me.
