Connecting ipod nano 4th generation to car stereos...

I have a Goodmans GCE2814IP car stereo, compatible with the iPod nano 1st gen. that I currently have, and others that were released after that. Does anyone know if the new iPod nano 4th gen. will connect to this car stereo without having to buy any additional leads, or at all? I have contacted Apple and Goodmans direct but awaiting a reply. Can anyone else out there help out?

So i was pretty mad when i got my ipod home and realized that it would no longer charge in my car, kinda ruins the whole thing. I have 14 days left to take it back. Any idea on a quick fix to this situation or are we screwed? My old 4gig nano has worked fine for two years now, I just decided to get an 8gig for more space, but it's not worth it if I have to take it home to charge. I already shelled out $250 for an ipod adapter for my '89 Cherokee, I don't plan on spending anymore to get this thing working. Any ideas? I'm gonna have to take it back if I can't fix this.

I also have a Kenwood DNX5120 and am experiencing the same problems with podcasting my Ipod Nano on it and getting the "no video signal" message. Did you or anyone out there find a fix to this? I was going to download a software update from Kenwood, but it does not specify that it includes the new Ipod Nano software that my Nano has. Also, can you please let me know if you get the same message with other videos coming off the Ipod, such as music videos or tv shows? Thanks, Michael. mdbreaux@eatel.net
