I ordered around 2pm on wedesday. Did your ETA date change, or was it always the 21st?

mine never changed, or at least hasnt yet. I called fedex, and they said that the 20th is the normal date of delivery scheduled for me, but that could change based on how long it takes to get clearence.

I dont understand what the issue could be, its made in China, its not like its needing to be imported or something, why is an export such a big deal. Supposedly it takes only a day to get to your final destination once it leaves china, so technically even if it gets cleared tommorrow, that gives the shipment enough time to get to me (us) in the ETA scheduled....

ok, i just called Fedex again, this time i talked to someone helpful...

she said that this "regulatory agency" warning was normal and it should still ship on monday, and get to me on tuesday as listed. if yours is listed for wednesday, it will probably get there then too.

she checked the computer and said it cleared customs and was waiting for a flight or something...

anyway call the international FEDEX dept. i forget the number...

NO! It is still stuck in china.

I called Fedex last night, and spoke to a gentleman who said to call today to find out whether or not this batch of Ipods (yours is probably included in mine) did not have the correct paperwork filed by Apple. Some idiot didnt write the value of the product, so it has been sitting there waiting. He however reassured me today that Apple has been notified about this and they will try and get this cleared up tommorrow (Tuesday)

So hopefully, it will leave on Tuesday, and they said the earliest I should expect it is Thursday. If you are a day behind me, you might get it on friday or Thursday.

this is rediculous, never have I ever had a problem with a large company being so grossly incompetent in SHIPPING out a product after it has been paid for. I could understand if this was just mine, but its a whole grate, probably 100,000 ipods or something that is supposed to be comming out like every other day. Someone should be fired for this...
