I posted a few hours ago with encouragement to users with nanos stuck in China to call 1800MYAPPLE and press for a shipping refund and additional compensation.

Apple deleted my post, presumably because it encourages users to stand up for their consumer rights, and I encourage you to stand up for yours, until this message is also suppressed by the fascists you expect you to just wait forever for your nano like a nice, patient customer.

Nice company: Make a promise, break a promise, suppress communication between customers.

I want my IPODS. No one from APPLE has even contacted us. It's ridiculous. I don't even know how you guys are getting through via the phone. I get disconnected before the call even goes through. I have sent emails and got one reply that gave a really generic answer,"you should receive your shipment wihtin the quoted 3-5 business days". Well, that time limit has PASSED and that was the reason I emailed, duh. Somebody get their stuff together, PLEASE.

Just got off the phone with Apple. The rep. was really nice but knew just about as much as I did on the situation. He said that the regulatory delay shouldn't last more than another 24-48 hours and that they should ship to the U.S. within that time frame. I hope so.

By the way, Don't buy the crystal film in the accessories store it doesn't fit the nano and the Belkin Tunecast FM transmitter bites in Honda Elements. For most cars, you can buy an auxillary jack to hook up to the back of your factory or after-market radio that hooks up to the mini-jack on IPOD.

Apple is absolutely ridiculous they have some of the best products but they have terrible customer service and dont give a crap about you once they get a hold of your money why are they being so immature? Why cant they take responsibility for the mistakes they made and fix the problem it would make our lives so much easier and none of us would be nearly as mad. They lied, they got caught but still they deny all responsibility. And they delete our threads and just pretend like it never happened

APPLE vs. FedEx..

Posted this yesterday - seems to have mysteriously disappeared.............

Just received a call from FedEx rep. She stated they are calling all the customers involved in this shipment to explain that there is nothing they can do. They said; "the problem lies with APPLE and it's paperwork, and until APPLE rectifies it, they will continue to sit in China".
From a customer service standpoint, why isn't APPLE making these outbound calls ??
By FEDEX doing this, the issue just got elevated to the next level. Maybe now we'll get some action!

Combine this with my other posting and Apple will end up with a PR disaster if they don't get moving soon.

You could have the best product in the world, but if you can't provide any customer service, it will be doomed to failure.

Apple needs someone in customer service that knows how to deal with these issues.
