Sound card pops randomly

Hello,

Just got a new 15 inch MBP ... While using regular applications like Safari, Messenger and Mail I noticed that the soundcard pops when using the headphone jack with external speakers every once in a while (could be even on on-board speakers but i'm not sure).

Also, when using headphones I noticed a very subtle noise that goes silent after a certain amount of time of inactivity on the computer.

I'm a music producer so this matters to me as my previous Powerbook never had this type of behavior.
