That's one not mentioned on these forums at all. So it might be good then again it might not be. Regardless, I'm rather cautious about buying RAM from a non-RAM manufacturer, since you don't know if their warranty will be upheld. Frequently all you get is RAM in a box with no warranty info. If you buy from a RAM manufacturer, at least you have a receipt and a purchase history with them to prove that you have their RAM.
The chips were using Micron chips, the same as the OEM RAM that came with the Macbook...
I can't confirm these worked right. I was able to boot and run applications just fine, but I was having reproducible issues (sleep mode issues) when they were installed. Right now I'm in the process of running the system memory that came with the MacBook to try to reproduce the issues I had earlier to determine if it was the MacBook or RAM.
I bought Crucial's 4gb kit and have lockups. Great company, they are trying to figure out what's happening and in the meantime they will replace the RAM I got.
I have been waiting since I purchased my MBP in late Oct. to update to 4 gigs of RAM. I have tried 2 sets of OCW and 1 set of Crucial DDR3 ram. All of it has failed.
Does anyone have a confirmed working 3rd party RAM manufacturer that will allow me to get to 4gigs of ram?
I just upgraded my 2.4 Macbook (Late 2008) to 4Gig RAM. I installed a Jetram with model number JM1066KSU-2G. It's been 2 days and I still did not encounter any issues
