Not able to register a free account at itunes store (with screen shots)

I think this is a prejudice who doesnt have a credit card. Let sue them.. 🙂

Maybe the new iphone/ipod sponsor is Citibank.. like "buy an iphone and win a brand new credit card right now! Spend your money with us and help us to get out the bankrupt!"...

What the **** is going on?

It's a mystery how come nothing serious has been done since the first discovery of this issue. Apple claims that it is a big company, but the customer support has yet many lacks. I hope someone from Apple is reading our complains and at least tries to solve this big problem.

Im very annoyed, I bought my Ipod Touch yesterday and want to use all the applications (ones that are free) on my Touch. Yet I cannot create a 'free' account, APPLE FIX this problem ASAP because im really annoyed.

Back to a brighter note, anyone want to share an account?

It didn't work for me with credit cards either, and I've tried both Mastercards and a VISA card. That was in the Hungarian store, but I wouldn't be surprised if other stores didn't work either.

I really hope that those credit card details haven't been stolen in a MITM or something.

Well at least you could use credit cards in your countries. I bought a 2G ipod touch and i was very happy at first. Then I got annoyed to find out that itunes does not exist in Malta. So why the heck do they sell ipods and iphones in Malta in the first place? I have read that there are about a dozen countries were u can buy ipods and iphones but there is no itunes. When DEV TEAM get the new ipod 2G jailbreak out i am going to use it on the ipod for sure. Even the retired apple co-founder WOZ agrees with the jailbreaks.

If they were dedicated they'd read our e-mails and understand that we're complaining that the article is at fault and doesn't work. I'm sick of them linking me to it as opposed to solving the problem!

maybe apple are going bust like all the other companies? might explain why they not that bothered to sorting out this little problem. you think they have it done in hour

You don't need a credit card or pay anything to get free apps.

If you fill up with your credit card Apple Store charge you USD 1.00,

No they don't. They place a $1 hold (not the same as a charge) on your account to verify it is a good account.
The hold is removed, usually within a day or 2.

Well so teach us how can we open an account without credit card to get free app. This is the answer that we are looking for since 21st November
