Not able to register a free account at itunes store (with screen shots)

Just bought a ipod touch from Argos last Saturday, and I'm really interested in getting some of the very handy free apps.

I really like the idea of apple invite programmers to develop applications together.

However, I soon found out that I wasn't able to create a free itune store account.

I followed this instruction closely. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 But the register system just doesn't like it.

I have been trying to register on there since Saturday night. Here is a screen shot of the error. http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr125/kagamisuki/a-5.jpg

Could anyone help me with this please.

Thank you

wow, I told the person from iTunes who I was emailing that I successfully set up an account and got this email back:

Hello Sam ,

Connie here. I hope this email greets you in good spirits. I am very glad to hear that you have been able to set up an iTunes Store account.

I wanted to thank you for your understanding and patience and to also welcome you to the iTunes family, so I have issued 2 song credits to your iTunes Store account. You can use these to buy the individual songs of your choice from the iTunes Store.

When you next sign in with this account, the song credits will appear by your account name (in the upper-right section of the iTunes Store). The next individual song you buy from the iTunes Store will use one of your song credits instead of your primary form of payment (until all credits have been used or have expired). Please note that song credits cannot be used for purchasing songs that are listed as "Album Only."

If you don't see your credits, refresh your account information by signing out and back in to the iTunes Store. You can find both "Sign Out" and "Sign In" within the pull-down "Store" menu. If you don't see this menu, you should need only download the latest version of iTunes from our website for free:

Thank you Sam and I wish you a happy shopping experience!

Sincerely,
Connie
