Replying on iPhone doesn't flag the message as replied in Mail.app

When I reply to an email on the iPhone, it doesn't show the "reply" flag inside of Mail.app on the Mac.

Obviously this is annoying since sometimes I forget if I replied to an email or not.

Is there any way to fix this behavior? 😟

G5 + MBP, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

Yay! Something has happened & this issue is now fixed, perhaps with the iPhone OS 3.1 update?

I use Mail 3.6 on Mac OS X.5.8 with an iPhone 3GS & OS 3.1, via an IMAP server. When mail is downloaded to the Mac, then a reply is formulated & sent via the iPhone, the Reply flag is now synced back to the Mac.
