iMovie '09 Green Screen?

I tested 24p on my camera "had to import it with Final Cut" then imported it into iMovie and wow it worked better that 60i.

I wonder if my green screen is just not good enough or if it is a lighting issue. Anyone know where I can get a sample green screen movie to test with.

You need to use a different shirt. Choose an all black or all red shirt, and you will get better results.

Yes, it appears that your shirt has green in it and it got removed with the background bleeding through.

You can have up to 99 audio tracks. Are you referring to an extra video track? There is a workaround for this, too.

Yes i mean Video Track. I did not know we could add that many audio tracks tho. WOW.
Please tell me the workaround.

I did not even think of that.. I will try again. I am using a bedsheet. maybe I will invest in a cheap gren screen from tubetape.com

Well it is still bleeding through. I might need to invest in a real green screen. I can only assume that the bed sheet is not going to cut it.

Note: The advice I gave about adding B-Roll still works, but it is obsolete. This is now much easier in iMovie 09. Just turn on the advanced editing tools in iMovie Preferences. Then select your B-Roll footage. Drag it to the clip where you want to add it, and drop. A pop up menu will come up. Choose Cut-away. Done.

It took some time to understand how it works; but is really simple.
Shoot in front of green screen; import; drag to project and with advanced prefs on you get the menu to import clip as green screen.
Tips:
- Make sure you have put a background clip first in the project. The built in background do well.
- Fading does not work. Perhaps a bug. But annoying. So green screen is nice, but at this stage you cannot do real nice things. For instance you need to be able to fade the chromakeyed upper layer. Now this is not possible...yet.
- You can adjust the chromakey effect because you can change the color setting of the clip. Soften edges is not possible.
