Ideas about "radio tuning error" or am I off to the genius bar?
iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.2)
iBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.2)
I tried comp. mode for XP and Win7 and neither worked for me.
Same problem, just started today (28th of Feb) from what I know of.
Running Windows 7 64 bit
Internet connection is working
Tried all three options given
1 .clear browser history
2. clear itunes cache in iTunes
3. cleared cache and cookies for the web browser
Made no change. Same issue.
iTunes Radio Tuning Service has been down for me for a few days, on every computer, every OS, including Lion, Snow, Tiger and OS 9, Macs, Windows, and at least four different versions of iTunes.
All signs point to something wrong on Apple's end.
This has been going on since this past Friday. I simply don't understand why Apple can't acknowledge the issue so their customers don't waste their time trying to solve a problem that is most definitely theirs. Just have some part of their website that lists "known issues".
Mine works now. The reason companies don't admit they have a problem, is that people who don't have the problem or didn't notice until advised will start calling and demanding answers before they have one.
Same problem, found that I was connected to remote speakers through a Airport express and when I turned off that connection the tuner was able to refresh.
Mine works since yesterday, like many others. I did nothing, Radio just came back ;-)
I hope, Jean2222, that that is a sign, but I just tried mine and I'm still getting the same errors.
Rats.
This worked perfectly. thanks mikeinrichmond.
I have the same problem not sure when it started but it recent. I've tried the solutions above but all its done is allow me to refresh the stations and show new ones from what I can see. Not sure what's going on most of the channels are unobtainable.
It's working today! I would've appreciated a response or some type of "support" from an Apple representative though...
I have tried all of the suggestions and mine is still not working today.
I don't think that there's anything you can do...I think that there's some back end maintenance going on that they're not making us aware of because I was getting the same message on my Mac at home and at work.
"go to edit, preferences, advanced, and reset itunes store cache, then restart itunes"
Mikeinrichmond this worked for me too thanks!
Resetting iTunes Store Cache and then restarting iTunes didn't work for me (Windows 7 64-bit).
I thought clearing the DNS resolver cache ( ipconfig /flushdns in a command prompt ) had worked, but it turns out that only some of the radio genres are working, others still display the error.
