wont accept new face!

doesn't detect a new face
so i add missing face box
position on face
add name
click done
and check to see if it has been added to that person on cork board
it didnt take go back to picture and there is no face named on it do it again same thing
help please this is driving me crazy !!!!!!!!!
most of my pics works fine have added a missing face no problem
but some (and there seems to be no theme to them you can clearly see the face) wont accept the face

macbook, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

I have the same problem but seen you have a solution but can not find the iphoto blob in the package content
The db repair I found and threw it allready away but still have to find the other one to have my faces back again
It said it have 3 faces but can't see it anymore in faces
I have this problem after the new firmware for the new unbody mbp
It can also not open pictures for mail PS internet I have to put them first on my desktop before I can use this option
Before the firmware everything works fine
Does someone have the same problem or knows the solution

How long is this "spinning" thing on Faces suppose to go on for? Mine has been going on for a while...still nothing on the cork board.
