Temp gauge says 135F for processor.....I think this is too hot!!!

I just got a dual 1.25 and have 4 hd loaded in it. What is the average temp for this processor and hard drives? I have seagate drives which says 101 as an average for these today.

Any info on the fans inside the mac and how many are there and how to check to make sure they are working correctly?

Thanks for any info ....I've shut it down and am using my old mac until I find out if it should be that HOT.

thanks,
Tony B.

OK just got the new fans and replacing them one at a time to see how the noise and heat is.

These small fans have a 3 wire prong. I've read that the white wire is for controlling the speed of the fan. I guess the way to do this would be to just snip the white wire ...correct?
There are 3 into 4 connectors for some of these fans .

I'm just not sure if I should connect these small fans to the 4 pin psu lines.

Let me know if I am about to do something wrong here. Thanks guys.

Tony B.
