How do I transfer iTunes purchases to another apple ID (Account)

Some one please clarify this for me. I thought iTunes Match needs to have ONE apple id registered to it. In order for family members to use iTunes Match, they need to know the registered Apple ID in order to DOWNLOAD music.

Second, I thought Family sharing is ONLY good for STREAMING music and can be used at home.

If you are only using the one account, anyone should be able to use the I.D. The limit is on the number of devices which was 5 providing they didn't change that.

They now have family sharing which allows you to give an ID to your family members and they can share and download iTunes purchases.

Ok. With family sharing, family members can DOWNLOAD music and apps at home.

What is the point of paying $25 a year to subscribe to iTunes Match? I am trying to understand the logic.

Essentially, if Family Sharing and iTunes Match provide family members with the same benefits, downloading songs and apps to there ipods then why pay a service fee every year?

I guess I am trying to figure out if FS and iTunes Match are similar in what it provides then what does iTunes Match have that FS doesn't have? I am trying to understand the benefits of iTunes Match COMPARED to Family Sharing.

iTunes match is music only. The main benefit is accessing your library outside of your home on an apple device you own, and it can sync music you didn't buy from apple. iTunes match is meant for an individual and not to be shared outside of the apple id owner.

Obviously, I know the two distinct benefits that iTunes Match has, you upload your music library to Apple and they will match your music to there library. I know that much. I trying to figure out what benefit there is to pay $25 a year to have iTunes Match versus Family Sharing. Aside from the basic features of iTunes Match, I looking for the 1 benefit that TM has the FS doesn't have.

If you know the distinct benefits, then why are you still asking the question? iTunes Match isn't meant to be shared. It only does music, but it'll do music that wasn't bought from Apple. It doesn't get more clear than this. Read the links you've been provided and make the decision for yourself. We can't decide what benefits you.

I am not asking you to make the decision for me. If that is the case, tell me where I should eat lunch today. Tell me the benefits of eating Burger King versus Subway then make that decision for me.

Tell me the benefits of using the generic brand of toilet paper versus Angel Soft then make that decision for me.

i can't use family sharing myself because Apple assumes every human on p[lanet is American, lives in America, and has a Credit Card

Whereas im a Brit, live in Thailand, and never use and wont ever have a credit card.

So family sharing is only a solution if you are US resident and possess a Credit Card, or, US resident with a US Bank and US Paypal account is also now possible

However, if you belong to the rest of the world. then no, there is absotely no way to let your family share your media.

Unless they have your apple id in their phone and ipads, which of course allows access to all media and app

she only needs the apple id for the itunes store in her device, and can use her own apple id for her imessage and facetime and mail.

Apart from that.. why on earth are you so selfish to keep 5 computers for your own self and not allow your daughter one of the 5?

For a specific benefit, iTunes Match will not require a computer be on, and itunes be opened for other devices to access the music.

Family Sharing will, and is also limited to your local network.

iTunes Match will work from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.
