Can't resize iTunes window
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Option click the green button.
Or drag any of the sides/corners of the window to resize it.
Drag the top edge down then drag the window up
Thanks, but as I say, the window so filled up the screen that the green button was not available. Nor were any of the corners. It even covered the top bar so I couldn't get into preferences or anything else. I used command F and it magically resized. It's fine now. Thanks.
For WINDOWS users there's NO green button! So forget that!
TO FIX right click on the window banner (top of itunes window) and select "Maximize."
NOTE: You might have to bring the window out of full screen before, which you can still do if the resize button still shows (between minimize and exit buttons--top right corner). Otherwise try "minimize" and then "maximize."
Who did QA on iTunes 11?????
My GOD MAN! This post was in 2009. I have a new iMac 10.8.4. And I'm still putting up with this!!!!
That Option + "green button' trick works well, but seriously, Apple can't figure this out. Maybe a fix on Maverik, NOT! LOL!
MacBookAir 10.8.4 iTunes 11.1.3.
Option + green button didn't work. Dragging top down didn't work. Only thing that worked, after wasting way too much time on this was iTunes > Window > Zoom. Only after zooming the window to smaller than screen size, then dragging the top down also worked.
It's almost five years after the original post...

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
That was such a pain in the butt! and you solved it fast and easy! That doesn't happen too often! I didn't see where I could give you a "solved".... but you did!
🙂
Resizing the iTunes window is simple if you know the operating system commands! To TOGGLE between full screen and normal, simply hold down the Control and the Command key at the same time, then press the "F" key on the keyboard. You will then be able to shrink or expand the screen image of iTunes at will. Your best option for helpful commands is to purchase a program called "KeyCue" from Ergonis Software. It will reveal all of the hidden commands for any version of MacOS X and all of your software installed on your computer no matter who the manufacturer is.
I also highly recommend you consider purchasing "PopChar" and "Typinator."
PopChar reveals all of the hidden characters you may need from any font.
Typinator will automatically insert dates, addresses, Logos, etc. into your documents so you will never have to type your name, address, phone number, email address, etc. into a letter again.
