Hi, there. I need help. I bought a Wacom bamboo fun tablet, and I know that it works well, but only in the pc in Windows, because I can't get it work in Mac os x. It's really weird, because when I tested it without installing the drivers, it works (the pen and the mouse works as a mouse), but then, when I installed drivers, the pen and the mouse stop working. The light of the tablet keeps iluminated, but nothing works.
I tested all drivers downloaded from the wacom site, but the pen and the mouse does not work at all in leopard 10.5.2
Anybody can help me?
Try repairing disk permissions. Launch Disk Utility. Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility. Restart your Mac, connect the tablet. See if that helps.
When the tablet is connected, open System Preferences and make sure you see the "Ink" icon. Orange with a pen icon.
well, first of all, thanx for the quickly answer.
I did what you told me, I repaird permissions and restart, but nothing happend.
I change the tablet usb port, but nothing.
And yes, when the tablet is connected, the "ink" icon appears in the system preferences.
i really don't know what can be done...
I didn't try to update yet, I want to know if there's another solution to this.
Isn't?
Just thought of a glitch I had with mine. Keep your mouse several feet or more from the pen when using the tablet. Either USB or Bluetooth mice can cause interference.
