Wrong Tape Format

Hello - a project was filmed by a shooter, and I was given the Quicktime files to edit in FCP. I put together an edited project, then tried exporting it to my Panasonic camera, and it starts and stops, then I get a msg. on my camera that says 'Wrong Tape Format'. What is this, and how can I get this project exported? Thanks very much...

Have you tried different tapes?...could be a bad tape.

Have you run a cleaning cassette in the deck...could be dirty heads.

I just imported about 5 projects onto this particular tape w/no problem, but can try a different one... might there be any other suggestions? Thanks very much!
