pdf file extension missing on export

That's it really - the pdf file extension is always missing when I export from Pages 09 to PDF. This causes Windows users problems especially when attached to emails. Any way to force Pages to add the extension?

It's funny to see that you 'speak' to me in a response to peterbreis 😉

As far as I am unable to reproduce a described odd behavior, I refuse to call it a bug!
If I am able to reproduce it, I send a report. It's really simple.

The thread was open on 2009/05/31.
I sent my report to Apple on 2009/06/03.
You discover it on 2009/07/26.
So, if some one is slow, it's not me !

Between to reports which I send to Bugs hunters, most often, the report# is incremented by at least 100.
So I perfectly know that there are bugs in every program.
And it's normal. There is no serious program without bugs. Even those used by the NASA contain bugs !
Are you guessing the number of lines of code in an operating system ?
Recently, ********* gave 20000 lines of code to LINUX. They are all dedicated to drivers and drivers are just a small part of operating systems.

KOENIG Yvan, I followed this thread when it first went up, because I had been dealing with the bug myself (and sending reports to Apple) for some time. I gave up following before your final post because other posters had clearly identified a persistent bug despite your insistence that they were just making a mistake. I just came back to the thread to see any further advances had been made.

Nevertheless, you are clearly a very talents and wise computer user. I have learnt so much about coding just form the information you volunteered in your last post here. I'm sure your repeated insistence that the other posters in this thread were in error, because you could not recreate the bug, was a rare mistake.

I see from your incredibly higher number of posts that you spend a remarkable amount of time imparting your wisdom on other user here on the discussion board.

Thank you for all your insights in this thread and others, and all the sacrifices you must have made to achieve this level of contribution. You must never leave the forums, which is very impressive. I look forward to your future posts.

Thanks for the feedback.

I use Mac OS X 10.5.7 less than 5% of the time passed with my macs.
So, when it's not clear that a problem is linked to this system, I don't see it.
As quite often reports about applications oddities aren't true oddities but wrong use of the beast, I am tempted to think that if I can't reproduce something it's an user's error.
Sometimes I'm wrong and as you saw, I behave accordingly. Alas, often I am right.

Don't worry, responding on the forums is my brain jogging so, I don't plan to drop it even if sometimes such a project attempts to me.
In fact, I would be busy only with messages which I receive directly at home.
