I have a pretty new 17" Mac Book Pro with a wireless Mighty Mouse. The mouse is consistently losing the connection with the computer and I have to go to the Bluetooth menu to re-establish the connection. Is this a known issue or does this computer or Mighty Mouse have a defect?
That "fix" doesnt really solve the original issue which is the keyboard and mouse both losing connectivity.
This just happened to me today, all of the sudden my BT mighty mouse and keyboard stopped working. by this i mean that if and when it does connect the movement is very jerky and then it loses connection. For example, when the keyboard connects, i can maybe type in a letter or two then all of the sudden a letter will get "stuck" and be repeated about 20 times.
Think you might have a bigger problem. I would check the mouse and keyboard on another machine; Apple Store, friends, or other. If they do the same thing, then you know. If they don't, it's unfortunately a problem with the driver or machine.
