I have a RICOH Aficio 1515MF that refuses to play nicely with our two macbooks running Leopard. It mostly prints garbled whatnot and shoots out blank pages. Is there a workaround for the printer not supporting Postscript?
Okay, I will try all this. I noticed that those downloads were all for Panther or Snow Leopard. I don't have either of those. I'll go ahead and try and see what happens.
Okay, so I was able to print. THANK YOU. Now I have another problem. From the PC I use at work, I can use the option to have the copier/printer staple pages. There is the option on my Mac now, but the options are all grayed-out. So the option is there, but not really. Is there something else I have to download? I usually have it staple "Top Left" but that is grayed-out as are all the other options. Thanks.
The headings (Mac OS X 10.3.x - Mac OS X 10.6.x) are meant to indicate that the software is compatible with OS X 10.3.x (Panther) through and including OS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard).
AT Last ... thanks Matt, this solution worked for me also on a Ricoh Aficio 3025 printing from MB on 10.5.8. I was getting many blank pages after trying the Ricoh 3025 driver (IPP or LPD tried) but when I installed Ghostscript, Foomatic, then pxlmono and installed the printer using lpd & the printer IP address I'm in business. The top margin is too close to the edge of the paper currently but at least I have something going!
