Iphone sync error 13019?

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 8.2 I've been having issues synching. It will copy photos, ringtones, etc, but at some point says that iTunes could not sync "Error 13019".
(reposting in the appropriate forum)

Searching resulted in nothing.

Now my playlists on the phone are wiped out, oddly enough the music is there, but it doesnt show up on the phone. If I connect it to iTunes, it shows the music and the playlists as being there.

I did a reinstall of iTunes and chose a restore from back up, neither has worked.

Anyone else run into this?

Dual Core G5, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Same here.

Got error. Found this thread. Turned off voice memo sync, deleted all voice memos from iTunes.

I'm sure there are many causes for this error message. I'll update if it returns.

Hi,
there is a technote on Apple Website for this problem.

You have to disable sync for memo voice in Music tab :

It works for me.

I had tried everything, even all the steps in the tech note with creating an empty account and syncing and empty library, etc. I had no voice memos but turned that off and on anyway, didn't help. I ONLY got there error when "automatically fill free space with music was turned on".

But, I noticed that every time I attached the phone, even with "automatically fill" turned off, a couple of songs would "re-sync" to the phone. I would see them be copied every time I attached and synced.

So I deleted those specific songs from my iTunes library and reimported them. Since doing that I have not had the error again even with "automatically fill" turned on.

This seems like when I started getting this error. I'll have to turn it off again and see if that fixes my problem. I've already done a restore to the phone, and don't care to wait through that again.

BTW, it's happening on Macs too.

I also get the same and have done everything in the support article.

I can understand if there were a track on there that causes the problem, but the fact that there is no diagnostic data is ridiculous. Being able to identify the offending track or app would be very useful. If only Apple would include something to help, maybe an 'enable de-bug mode'?

Performing a reset of the touch is not an option really in the long term either - as you lose all the saved data of the apps and I cannot find a way to copy them back individually with their saved data.

It is ridiculous that Apple have not come up with a way of identifying the issue or even a fix for it.

As far as I can tell it's the "fill free space." It also could be the voice memos, but since I've deleted what I had, I won't know for sure.

Unchecking "Automatically fill free space with songs" solved the problem for me.

I also think it's the "fill free space" option. The other methods noted here will work. Once. Unchecking, applying, syncing, rechecking, applying, syncing works with any option. Once.

Only unchecking "fill free space" seems to do the trick permanently.

i get same message and the time before the last update it said that my account was not registered to my computer.. which it was!! so it used up another one of my 5 chances..

Don't worry about using up one of your 5 authorizations. If you ever get to 5 authorized computers, you can reset it in iTunes (under your Account Info) and reauthorize just the ones you are still using.

Every time I sync I get the 13019 error, if i uncheck sync music, and then resync all my music to the ipod the error is fixed. But then as soon as I sync again next time the error is back. I have tried all suggestions, even restored the ipod touch... no luck at all..

I'm having to unsync and resync my music every couple of weeks, thanks to this error. I hope Apple are working on a fix for the next update - it's infuriating!

I also have the same problem 😟

the songs are in my itunes library but i just cannot sync them and they don't show up on my iphone...it's quite frustrating..

i have windows xp..and i have the itune 9.0.0.70 version ...
any suggestions as to what i should try to fix this problem would be very much appreciated!

hey man you made my day... i really appreciate it.. i took like 4000 songs from my old pc (just bought a macbook pro) and put them onto my itunes and then went to sync them on my iphone and i kept getting that error.. i was so ******. seen your post tried deleting some stupid voice memos that i had and then did a sync and worked perfectly
