Iphone sync error 13019?

same thing just happened to me. i want in to voice memo and there was 3 of everything. I cleaned it up and synced again. Bloody stupid

It also worked for me to un-sync music, TV programmes, movies and podcasts an re-sync them again. That solved it. I was having problems with the podcasts.

OK. I see that folks have found many ways to solve this problem. What (just) worked for me was to un-check the iTunes option to "fill space with music". Syncing with that option un-selected allowed me to sync successfully. Woo hoo.

Ditto. Made a new voice note the other day and forgot about it (hadnt used it in months) Went into iphone4 and deleted it. Synced normally. It was hanging up right before syncing notes and apps. Now it's fine.

Voice memos was the culprit for me too!

My additional trouble came about when instead of unchecking the voice memo sync option I simply deleted all the voice memos from within itunes.

Unchecking then didn't work. Eventual solution was to delete all VM on the iphone using the phones GUI. (pesky voice memos!)

I had to unsync all my applications and then I didn't get the error. I don't have anything checked to sync to iTunes except for my applications and I get this error. Kind of frustrating. Not even creating a new user account on the PC worked, because I'm actually on a NEW PC.

if i delete the voice memos in my iphone, will I still be able to transfer them back from my itunes? I have tried unchecking the music, podcast etc.. still error appears.

For everyone who has windows vista or windows 7 with Itunes and still get the 13019 error, here's the solution:

After trying everything on this topic, ticking boxes in Itunes and syncing again and again:

*"Before you do this, you must copy all your voice memo's to a folder somewhere in your document files'!!!*!

I realized that you have to remove all the voice memo's on your iphone and you have to un tick the box 'voice memo' in Itunes. And then sync and tadaa, everything syncs perfect!

Look in Voice Memos (on the iPhone) for duplicated entries (some duplicated many times) and remove the duplicates. The re-sync and Hey Presto the error goes away!

Yep...removed all of the voice memos and it synced right up.

Thanks SO much Apple...I've unsynced EVERYTHING and still this d * error.

I really enjoyed spending my morning chasing my tail with no result.

Kindly figure out a better error reporting system if iTunes wants to fail this much.

I'm running a MBP with OSX 10.6 fully patched etc... had this 13019 problem with the iphone 4.

In the end I managed to solve it by unchecking the fill remaining space and syncing a smart play list that I created which was size limited so I could guarantee to have 1gb free. seems to have worked so far.

Thanks Apple for not solving this nor the stupid alarm problem.

What a royal pain in the arse!

After trying everything in Apple's "fix it yourself stupid" document - two or three times - all to no avail...including resetting my phone, I finally gave up and reset my phone to factory and resynched everything step by step. This meant losing all my texts, all my wifi passwords, and wasting a lot of my time, but for those at the end of their rope, it worked.

Seriously Apple, there's obviously database corruption going on in addition to content corruption. Please build a better error reporting system into iTunes minimally - or, you know, fix iTunes so it doesn't break and bad content isn't allowed into your lovely walled garden.

i just fixed it...pretty easy..when you began to sync, under "music" do not click "sync music"..if you do that, then it will work..has to do with a sound or video that is causing it not to sync. also any recording on your iphone just delete it..that interferes too.....

If I do a restore, will it erase the apps and everything on my phone?
