Iphone sync error 13019?

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 8.2 I've been having issues synching. It will copy photos, ringtones, etc, but at some point says that iTunes could not sync "Error 13019".
(reposting in the appropriate forum)

Searching resulted in nothing.

Now my playlists on the phone are wiped out, oddly enough the music is there, but it doesnt show up on the phone. If I connect it to iTunes, it shows the music and the playlists as being there.

I did a reinstall of iTunes and chose a restore from back up, neither has worked.

Anyone else run into this?

I faced the same

Tried the same suggestion....never managed to fix it

I then try DELETE all song list in the iTune and follow UNINSTALL the iTune application and remove the iTune Folder in the C:\Users\<username>\Music, and start re-sync from it, it then the problem solved !

Hope this can help other too.

What I am having trouble with, is I'm using 10.5 beta and I do not automatically sync my music because I don't have all my songs on one PC; some songs are on my laptop and some on my desktop.

With that being said, I must now say that I only had one voice memo and nothing else. I've already deleted the voice memo from my iPod Touch 32GB (iOS 4.3.3; 8J2). I first noticed this problem when I tried to drag+drop a playlist entitled: Party Music from my iTunes library on to my iPod Touch. Everything was working before, I was able to add and delete perfectly.

I will mention that when syncing (yes syncing) photos to my iPod, I selected a folder with multiple files (.PSDs, .JPEGs, and .PNGs). Even though iPods are supposed to reject .PSDs and other non-friendly files to iOS, could something have done that?

I must also close by saying that even though I receive this message, I am still able to put some music and delete it off. Everything plays just fine, but I have noticed some corrupt songs while listening to them and will delete them as I go.

Any help is appreciated.

This is an FYI for those encountering this problem and are NOT using voice memos.

I just resolved this problem on my 3GS. The problem was related to my Music Videos that were being loaded as part of my playlists. Resolving my problem ended up being pretty simple, I did the following.

- In iTunes, I selected my phone, and went to the Music tab

- (Voice memos were already unselected here), I de-selected Music Videos

- I performed a re-sync

- I re-selected Music Videos

- I sync'd again

Result: Problem solved, and all original videos were playable again.

Hope this helps somebody else down the line.

Hi,

I ran into the same problem of error synching my iPhone today, it says "The Iphone cannot be synched. An unknown error occurred (13019)".

I followed the thread above, such as not synching Voice Memos, deleting duplicate voice memos, updating iTunes to the latest. Nothing worked. My iTunes is version 10.4.0.8, which is the latest.

Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this sync error?

Thanks!

Fred

I have been experiencing this issue since the end of last week. At the moment, I have my iPod (first gen iPod Touch) set to not sync music automatically. If I go to the Music tab, I see that Voice Memos is ticked, but the whole section is greyed out as Sync Music is unticked, therefore I cannot untick Voice Memos without erasing the whole content of my iPod, which I'd be keen on doing if at all possible. I want to resolve the issue though as it is a tad annoying.

I've also looked for missing files as suggested by Mikey50 somewhere further up this thread, but couldn't find any that may be causing the issue.

Can anyone suggest something that would avoid having to delete the whole content of my iPod please?

I'm getting the same error report when trying to sync my iphone3, I unsynced all my music and that worked, but when trying to resync it I just keep getting the same error message. I don't have any podcasts or voice memos, itunes knows where all my music is (I don't have any of those little grey !) but it won't sync my music......does anyone have any other ideas?!!!

It started when I was trying to download my newest music videos. When I plugged in my iPod to my computer, it first said that I had to type in my passcode on my iPod, which it has never done before. Usually when I plug in my iPod to sync it, the passcode has no effect whatsoever on whether my iPod is able to sync. I thought it was odd, but continued.

Then, it said “The iPod ‘Anna’s iPod’ cannot be synced. An unknown error has occurred (13019)”. I thought it was just a one-time thing, so tried to sync again. Again, the error.

I looked it up online, and saw a few solutions. So far, I have tried updating iTunes, updating my iPod (which never fully updated because the network connection kept timing out), and deselecting my music, music videos, and voice memos, syncing, reselecting them, and syncing. None of this has worked.

A couple times, when I have deselected music and reselected it, iTunes acts like it is putting my music back on my iPod. At the very last second of syncing, the error pops up, again!

I am using Windows 7, core i5, iPod Touch version 4.3.5, iTunes version 10.5.1. Please help! My iPod and music are my life!!

I had this same issue with the error code on my iphone 3G so I tried all of the solutions and nothing worked. Everything was working ok until I updated one of my purchased songs to itunes plus and because there were 2 versions of the same song in the purchased playlist I deleted the non-itunes plus version and re-synced my phone and everything is working fine now. So you may want to check your purchases and make sure you don;t have any duplicates. It worked for me so I hope it helps.

i found out how ... just look at an exclamation point song that you have on your computer click play on it via itunes and press locate .... and locate it on your computer this will automaticly remove all your exlamation point ... finaly delete your old playlist and create a new one after of course copiying your new unmarked song and pasting them in a folder on your desktop and paste them there and finally fill your iphone with your old music 🙂 hope i helped out !

Ok--I have this problem and I've tried the various suggestions out there--nothings working yet... I have deleted my music out of my iPhone, tried to put it on there again, and it didn't work, I've tried to restore the phone--still no changes. I have no voice memos. I have no music with the greyed out ! mark in it--any other suggestions so I can actually get music back on my phone?
