Iphone sync error 13019?

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 8.2 I've been having issues synching. It will copy photos, ringtones, etc, but at some point says that iTunes could not sync "Error 13019".
(reposting in the appropriate forum)

Searching resulted in nothing.

Now my playlists on the phone are wiped out, oddly enough the music is there, but it doesnt show up on the phone. If I connect it to iTunes, it shows the music and the playlists as being there.

I did a reinstall of iTunes and chose a restore from back up, neither has worked.

Anyone else run into this?

Dual Core G5, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Hello, I had this same issue and I unticked the button for "Include Voice Memos" under the Music section for my iPhone Device! This worked and my iPhone now syncs!

Thanks all.

Had the syn problem as I just upgraded to 3.0 but turning the syn off for music, applying it, then turning it back on seems to have done the trick. The music is back on the itouch now.

Thanks for those who replied to my posting.

My resolution to error 13019. I had to restore my iphone factory settings in order to successfully upload music, and applications.

Needlesstosay, this was very fustrating!

unfortunately I encountered this with my iPod touch 2nd generation error 13019 just weeks after buying it..
.. I suspect a cable problem.. I unchecked the sync voice memos.. I didn't really change much on it.. weird error..

Thanks to all for the tips on solving this frustrating problem with the upgrade. Unfortunately it took a bit more digging for me - turns out it was out of date podcasts that weren't found. A little longer to find the culprits but got there in the end. iPhone now syncing perfectly with all music, podcasts etc.

In the process tried a restore to factory settings and discovered a "firmware corrupt" message - now to investigate that issue...

Same issue here. Tried the un- and re-sync suggestion, no good.

Fixed it by removing the voice memo (which I'd recorded earlier tonight) from iTunes. The phone sync'd fine. Added the voice memo back into my library and the phone continued syncing fine.

Short version:
1) Remove voice memos from iTunes library
2) Sync
3) Add voice memos back to iTunes library
4) Sync

My method to properly tag a recording:

Sync.
Name/artist/etc the voice memo.
Go to the Options tab (in the tag editor), change type to either Music or Audiobook.
Remove from Voice Memos playlist.
Delete on iPhone.
Sync.

It should go in the proper (Music/Book) category without errors.

I hadn't upgraded yet but still had this problem. I tried to remove all the music and then re-sync as suggested but still receive the error.

Then, I just unchecked the 'Voice Memo' sync in the iTunes iPhone sync settings...it worked.

Exclamation points!!! I tried everything everyone was saying, and then someone mentioned exclamation points. Thank you.

I had my iPhone set up to sync checked items, so I unchecked everything with an exclamation point, and it synced. Finally!!! Thank you! I've been trying to get it to sync completely since I bought it. I was able to re-check the exclamation pointed titles after the initial sync and it worked.

After a weekend of banging my head on the wall it finally synced. Thank you

Also when I say exclamation point, I mean in the title. An example would be: The Beatles, Help! The exclamation point in the title kept it from syncing for me.

Thanks for this tip. I tried it all too and the same as you, there was a discrepancy in the voice memos. the iPhone thought there was one, but iTunes thought there were three. I deleted all the memos in itunes and resync'd without error.

@Bleuzz: Thank you so much for posting that fix! It solved the problem for me.

My 13019 error was being caused by a bad sync between the iPhone and iTunes. For some reason, a duplicate copy of each of my voice memos had been created after a sync. When I deleted the duplicates and re-synced, I stopped getting the 13019.

Removing the music from my iPhone didn't work. Now, I'm unable to get my music back on. What does the 13019 error mean?
