error message: /System/Library/Extensions/CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.kext

All of a sudden I keep getting this error message:

The system extension "/System/Library/Extensions/CDSDAudioCaptureSupport.kext" was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update.

iMac 24", MacBook Pro 17" HiRes, Mac OS X (10.5.6), iPhone 3G 16GB White

Had same problem. Free T/S for Toast 10 at (877)769-4601. Update with v 10.0.4 after following steps provided by tech.

This is causing me a real nightmare.
I've had this problem since installing Roxio Spin Doctor.
I have tried updating Toast to 10.0.4, then I've tried to remove it all (in all the locations), I have done all that has been said here, and even tried to repair permissions on the disk and re-install Snow Leopard.
Before I format my hard drive and start again - can anyone give any other ideas. I use Videoglide to connect a USB capture card to record a church service and stream it up to the internet (Camtwist) but VideoGlide will not work (tried reinstalling that as well) since Spin Doctor

I am running OS X 10.6.2 and have just installed Toast update 10.0.5 and re-installed the CD Spin Doctor Capture Support facility. Thankfully it has cured the problem for me, including being able to install the latest NI Audio 8 driver which highlighted the Toast 'quality' issue in the first place!
